I know I know.....I was just screwing around with the seeds and now I will never know what the hell this thing is that is growing in my house. Oh well I will nurture and love it even if it is a weed.

Yes to climb trees!! I guess the word Tree Climbing "Club" would have been more appropriate than "Organisation". I found a website which seems to be defunct which did exactly that (using pulleys and climbing equipment)... and this forum was one that popped up when I googled tree climbing so I was wondering if someone here may be ablr to point me in the correct direction! Thanks |

Check these links. New Tribe | Links http://www.finitesite.com/bosq/walks.html Tree Climbers Probably that last one is your best bet, but check them out and email their people and maybe you can get some great replies. |

We have been steady here lately. Climbed a large spruce tree today, removed snow damaged limbs. Used the Srt figure eight revolver technique today and really liked it.

Working on getting this computer, rebooted, and reprogrammed, since it crashed last week. I'm having a heck of a time, trying to post pictures here, and to eMail them, at the moment. Had a good day cutting my fire wood for this winter's heating. I put 2 1/2 tanks of gas/mix, and bar oil through my 044, and a tank, through my 026. I'll have it finished tomorrow with the cutting, them I have to split some of it, to fit into the furnace door, and pile. I have to first finish with the rebuild of the splitter, before I can use it, but that will only take an hour or two to complete. Bruce.

Work is very good. I have been working on this particular project for a couple of weeks, now. Very slow going. But I have gotten several calls for estimates, and then several more, and all of a sudden I'm booked through at least mid October on shelterbelt jobs. And that's with the use of my new machine (Bobcat S175 with brush grapple What do you do? Last edited by Therrin; 16th September 2009 at 02:23 PM. Reason: html fix

Quick question for anyone who may have similar feet. . . 9.5 EE. . . Does anyone have a recomendation for chainsaw boots? I have severe bunyans (maybe I should have called myself "Paul" instead of "Prairie Logger") on both feet, so rubber boots are not much of an option. I'm very interested in safety AND comfort. Any help that I (and Babe my blue ox) can get would be very appreciated. |

We've got a couple threads already started on this subject... and I think Ekka has an EEE foot if I'm not mistaken.... he'd probably have some good suggestions.

![]() And I used to own and operate ITSA Tree Service, until the collision of a variety of factors which now lands me in the "mostly defunct" catagory. Now I look for work in an economy where that's nearly impossible, and play TF2 and CS:S first-person shooter games all day. Which, incidentally, is actually pretty boring after the first several months.

I had some troubles with my 034, getting it started. I did a rebuild on the carburetor, and had troubles with it flooding. Turned out to be the new metering lever, was bent out of WAC, replace it with the old one. I got it fixed, and still wouldn't start. Inspected the in pulse hose, it was split a little, so I replaced that. After I removed the handle, and fuel tank part, impulse line, and intake boot, I turned the fly wheel over buy hand, and I could hear air comeing out of the intake of the cylinder. I pulled the cylinder to discover that the rings on the exhaust side, were worn down, and stuck in the groves of the piston. I went to the dealer to get new rings, and we discovered that the one side of the piston was worn thin, on the exhaust side. I wound up replacing the piston and rings. Now I'm in the process of putting the chain saw back together. I have to clean up a few parts, before I put the rest of it back together. Then I should be good to go, again with this chain saw. Bruce.

That's great, the check worked. I'm happy for you, I wasn't so lucky and it created a lot of BS. In future insist Paypal though, way faster and safer.

Paypal fugged up my checking account and never fixed it to work with my account again. Only way I can get paypal working at this point is to open another checking account. And that's a pita. Saw shop had closed before I got there. Waste of a 28 mile trip. I'll have to wait till monday. Dont worry Les, You've not been forgotten. |

I have to agree with Therrin, about Pay Pal. I've tried in the past to pay for something, that I tried to buy on eBay. Several times I tried, and the payment was canceled. Try again, and always ask the seller for his mailing info, that way if the payment got canceled again, I could send them a Postal Money Order instead. Payment would get canceled again, and the seller would file a Non Payment against me, rather than work with me, and send me his mailing information, like I asked. But there is a few people, very few, that is, will work with you, when it does come to Pay Pal. Most will stab you in the Back. Pay Pal, in a lot of cases, you would have been better to not bother with, at all.
