It's all good, It was realised early on that the written text can easily be mis interperated on the net so before our emoticons were used people used lettered terms to show they were not meaning thing that were typed serious and laugh not fight in responce,eg: It's all good.. something you learn as you use the net to put your point of view across without starting a war...hopefully...LOL

Ha that scroll over hyphens is cool as Ekka.

I been busy as here in Hamburg, next week will be 3 months so time to leave for something new. We have done soo much work here especially over the last couple of weeks. Done all sorts of things, big pruning, big removals, bracing, all sorts. Next destination, America again for a few climbing competitions, work shops, splicing, trade shows and to look around a bit.

Life for tree companies in Cincinnati, Ohio is good and busy. lots of removals large and small, prunning and planting are picking up. Life is good for a guy just starting out climbing!

Hey all, finally jumped back online.
Been doing the move thing and sorting all our crap out. Getting a few jobs round the place here and there. Only got a little Husqvarna .36 I borrowed off the neighbour, been running like a b#!%#&d so got a new fuel filter and spark plug to put in tomorrow. Just doing light pruning work at mo, possibly look into finding an employer after trip over to Canada in 3 weeks.

Climb safe

Good morning Therrin,

I'd like to say I'm working on a hillside pocket of Huon Pine, but that'd be a fat load of BS!

In reality, I'm looking to hire an arborist in Queensland's, Gold Coast area to give my tree a health assessment, hair cut or last rights as maybe required.

Anyone local who thinks they know what my tree is and wants the job?

I'm off to post photos now.

Cheers for the welcome
Anne

Good to meet you Anne and welcome to Tree World!!

I'd take you up on your offer but I'm several miles shy of your location.
Several thousand.....several tens of thousands actually.

Hopefully there's one of the Aussies around here who'll be able to help ya out!

Hey, I just updated my Big Tree, Long Story post from way back and started to catch myself up on what's happening over here. Awesome! Things are great; I have probably lived more than most trees and I have now discovered the land of blog. This summer I am striving to grow one humongous gourd, a lot of cantaloupes and whole bunch of stuff. Oh man, I have the most beautiful peony bush. I got it from a road side garden sale. Their bushes were massive and the flowers are such that they don't fall over. It was their first attempt at propagation. My bush grew a bunch the first year. But, I have two neighbors who share so I decided I too had to share. I forgot where I purchased it, so online instructions were to get a sharp knife, etc... Heck, I wound up hacking it into four clumps with a shovel. I thought for sure I had committed mass murder. I just looked today and all four groups have beautiful buds! I am going to wait until next year to share, I want to give them a good start. Right now they don't look like much--wish me luck. Love the Internet!!!

As far as work goes, just been splitting like crazy. Finished about 8 cords since the season started, and I've sold off about 5, but have another 4 or 5 to process.
I continually "harvest" from the forest to keep things going, and always wood that's already dead and seasoned but not rotted. Which, isn't always that easy. lol.

The other work calls have dwindled a bit, but I've still been doing alot of palms lately.

Scotty will be coming to Texas for the TCC at the end of may, why dont you get a ride with him to check it all out. Ill be there for sure with another mate from NZ. There are training workshops it you want too. The competition is great fun and you get a chance to test you skills against other climbers. Have you ever seen a TCC before?

oH what an awesome day, some clown stole the keys to the chipper... It took about 20 minutes to hotwire the chipper and keep it running. We had to rewire the ignition so we could stop the chipper turning itself off. New key at the earliest will be 11am tomorrow and that already puts us behind on 2 jobs.
