LOL

You need dozer drivers and crane operators for the trees you do.

Hey, how about when the customer says ... "can you cut it up 15" long for firewood". Be there a bloody month! Bring ya own fuel bowser for the 120xp coz tank after tank every 20 mins you'll need 20Litres a day.

But seriously I think I have to do something coz I'm going stir crazy in this town with all the geniuses that have stood in the sun too long. I'm feeling lost lately, cant do what I'm trained for, cant get paid what ya worth, and your compared to the last Islander who got off the plane.

In fact, and this is 100% gospel truth. I changed my ad and it now reads "we're educated Aussies". Then some old tight wadded fart opens the gambit at a quote with this statement.... "if you're not cheap enough I'll get the Kiwi's" (referring to doorknockers). That's what people have become up here and the fuggen quote was a pissy $110 job and he had to think about it and root me around. Then the ole coot tells me he knocked back a $1.2million offer by developers for his property.

If ya dinkum, so am I. I'm so fair dinkum it's dangerous.

Had a call tonight, can I come for quote at 2.30pm tomorrow? "Shopping around for cheapest price as we are going overseas & short on money" Yeah, sure I'll see you tomorrow.

Check Virgin Blue Home $79 Bris-Melb ? Maybe a tree change.

haha yeah not bad weather wise eh?

never been to the states but ive read a few threads on some pretty nasty pathogens and pests. hows the pine borer damage! theres a yankee site where they show the affected areas over a ten year period, like a bloody nuclear bomb went off. apparently dozens of tree companies are going out of business now because pines and business are running out. crazy times. makes our problems look pretty petty in comparison.

It's sarcasm Bill, what good is it having dentists if everyone's got perfect teeth?

I'm not saying all the trees here are perfect however in comparison not a lot of real bad shit happens to them for most part.... sadly. Be great for business if some bad assed bug etc started killing a bunch of trees like over there ... either treat your tree or cut it down, and then toss in the kicker which would be only certified people able to do either.

But nope, aint like that here.
