They grow differently in Melbourne, larger leaves and grow a lot slower but the pods look the same and I'm sure the contents feels the same.

anything dead, the longer its been left the more the hate builds, if its got english ivy or bougy in it and the tree/vine is dead there is anger.
Canary Island Date Palms!, who ever put them on the sig tree act should be thrown into one, spines will go through anything and are toxic.
old stone fruit trees that havent been maintained for ages, Old almond and walnut you can double the hate being felt.
Silky oaks, London plane, any old Ash.
Definetly any type of job the boss has underquoted or not thought out well (get out of the car bossman!).
One mores especially when you have just finished raking/blowing/putting back all your delicate pot plants and little ornaments, if I have packed up its cause the job is done you stupid nufftie!.
Lemon scented gums.

I removed what looked very, very much like a Norfolk Island Hibuscus today. No troubles. No flowers or seed pods on it is probably the reason. My worker didn't complain either.

What really sucked today was ripping out a stack of Camellias in full bud... It hurt.

You mean power lines?

I was walking the hood here last spring, and there was a hack crew taking down a 100 foot or so Doug fir tree. Old beat up Dodge pickup with stake-sides, old beat up baby Bandit chipper with too many hours on it was thrashing away, and a guy tied up in a tree dropping limbs, many on the power lines. Several limbs were crossing and directly shoting the lines and several were on fire. I pointed these out to one of the groundies, and he just shrugged. So I called the local utility company and mentioned it to them, with the address. They were VERY UNHAPPY. A cop came 'round soon after and things went downhill from there. Something about laking proper permits, fires, electrical shorts, utility company complaints, debris in the road, no proper traffic cones or signage, etc.

I mean, the entire crew was just working away while several limbs were burning up and sparks were flying. Even the Mexicans have more sense than that. I have never seen that happen before or since.
