Tree lopper injured by thrown generator

25/Mar/2009

A 64-YEAR-OLD tree lopper required hospital treatment after a portable generator was thrown at him in Mt Lawley yesterday afternoon.
Bayswater Senior Sergeant David Low said the incident happened at 4.30pm when the victim was cutting trees in Central Avenue and Railway Parade.

The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he was treated for a wound to the back of his head.

Snr Sgt Low called for any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Bayswater Police Station on 9473 5500.

One of the offenders was described as Caucasian, with a muscular build and with short spiky hair.

The second offender, who was also Caucasian, had auburn hair and was wearing a red or orange top and light trousers.

The men were last seen heading north on Railway Parade.

Then again, maybe you guys have some small generators out there. Still though. Poor guy!

Never throw objects at a person who's carrying a chainsaw.
