Default Totem whacking in Logan Council area

Corner Browns Plains road and Bluegum Street on council land sits this whacked ironbark and a couple of juvenile soap gums next to it.

Who dunnit? The lady across the road has a yard full of whacked trees and was watching me take the pics but I didn't hassle her. My hunch is the developers who built the sterile new townhouses.

I know it wasn't council, they'd like to know who dunnit? I suggested they post a sign on the totem pole and offer a reward.

It is the continuing sage of totem poles in Logan.

Just like the toped palms on Kingston rd.

Haha, those are still there and a new bunch further down the road! The ones down the road are Alex palms and had nice stags on them. They cut them to just above the stags, looks silly .... but there's no shade now and the stags are roasted!

No shortage of genius tree cutters here mate. There ought to be a law and fines, end of story.

My girlfiend asked about those palms once. "what sort of trees are those?"

After explaining that they were palms and what was going to happen she then asked "why do that?".

mmmmmm..........kingston people..........mmmmmmmmmm
