| I have formed a windbreak, using white spruce saplings, and I was wondering how big do they get? are they good for privacy? is five feet apart good enough? and also when I bought them they have a whole bunch of bare branches on the bottom, is that ok? will that grow back? and do the deer eat them? please let me know.Thanks. |

Hmmm deer a problem there in PA too? Seems that NJ had only a few deer 100 years ago, now they're everywhere eating everything in sight. (We have the highest deer density in the country). When I landscaped my house 15 years ago we never thought about deer resistant plants. Now after one snowy winter all of your stuff will be gone by the spring. |
