Yeah we carry that chill spray for wasps, normally ants don't bother me at all even hundreds of em I can block them out till jobs done, but these buggers went for my eyes early on and every time I had to do something with both hands...cut....they were biting my eye lids, they're still sore right now! (winge)

Did the pest guy drill and inject the tree?

i had a guy wouldnt do some cabbages back in my early days........so he paid me to climb em for him.........Case o beer.....(if he wouldnt climb them i would had to climb them any way bein senior climber)

had to hook prolly 10 feet off the ladder (32 feet) when i cut they started spillin out..................

filled my hooks wit little red ones......and oh they started bitin

where was i to go?

no where till i was done trimmin.............

when i got down both my knees swelled up and were covered in bites......

i shucked to my skivies jumped in the pool and waited for the clean-up to be finished.........

When we were done and back to the shop i got my days pay my case of budweiser and went home with a good buzz and a story i will never forget......

Hi All,
Well today we waited for the rain to stop so we could wack a couple of palms, which we did, because of the last minute call with the rain I left our camera at home and you wouldn't believe it here's this Pheonix palm with all it's fronds cut off lookin like a skinhead, That was cool but the thing that got me there was a ladder up against it made from left over house studs rite up to head of the palm, rough as guts tree removals these boys didn't even have a ladder!! only some nailed together hardwood If only I had my camera, you blokes would be aswell.

Went pass today,i've got picy's on my phone of the the recyled ladder, will have them up by the end of week, as our cats broke our blue tooth dongle.

LOL Ekka, but I can see what your saying,BIG PINEAPPLES

Nice work,L2edneck, makes the world of differance, pain to do though.

In the RAF, we were able to get hold of some stuff called DEET, 100%. You can't put it on ya skin because it will burn like hell. Instead, you put it on your clothes near to your exposed skin. See what you can get as the strongest form.

T-S yes we have a product very similar available to the public called Bushmans 80% DEET, not as high as the gear Defence hand out but pretty damn strong, don't spill any on your car, fishing tackle rifle etc.. .

Just spent the last few days fixing my car's water pump, getting mucked around, getting faulty parts and finding new problems, Hoorah!
