Cleaning up a Macro that had been , wait for it, TOPPED, by the guy in the Isle of Man Tree Surgery Club. Bark had been ripped, Widow makers left up in the crown, and branches split and damaged. Jeez, it looks really bad. I had to clear all the 'dangerous stuff'. The crew have dropped the top right through the under lying limbs and smashed everything on it's way down... Here's a couple of pix I took.

Well, that's 2 vehicles and the mini loader plus the stump grinder attachment that have had their oil/filters changed.

Grotty job but I like to do it myself, figure what I save on labor I spend on a better synthetic blended oil.

Holy heck

I'd by tickled pink to have rain and storm damaged trees.

Just another beaut sunny day with no rain in sight here.

Today I have to buy a pump to pump some water into our pool. Lucky I got a half full rainwater tank from the measley 5mm of rain we have had in the last month.

Lawns are all brown and I have to be extremely cautious when operating my miniloader on them, do like a 10 point turn or the turf just pulls away from the dust.

I have to prune a few limbs off a brushbox today to let more light into a neighbours yard. Dont know what for it's just a dust bowl.

Looks good eric. Spent my day cleaning up two Pin Oaks and had a good training tree for my new guy to work on (Apple) for show not fruiting. Not to bad for the first time.

Coconut removal full of carpenter ants, they didn't like me they didn't taste very nice either Tried to make the job go quicker by speed lining the head down to the truck, but that didn't work anywhere near as well as I had hoped...nothing broken no damage just took me 15mins to get all the rigging set up then decided to use a control/tag line through the porty at the bottom of the trunk..another 10mins...would have been quicker for me to cut the darn thing into discs and throw them at Steve, just kidding mate, into the truck.

So lesson learnt today....think things through properly before you climb up a pole and lay out what you know you'll need and what you might need, just like in Ekkas vid, saves a lotta time and frustration...esp when you're being eaten alive by ants, man they hurt when they bite your eyelids, only have photos of the early part of the set up sorry.

Me up a pole

Now how do you tie that knot?

About now I'm thinking yep this was one of my better ideas...not

No photos of the head on the line sorry but this is kind of how it looked
