?'s on these 2 are 1800, I don't know what the conversion rate on that would be.
Had to put a hold on that job as a mate has lost (?) my spurs, just when I need them. Waiting to receive new set from Honey Bros.

Sometimes ya better off going to the fish shop.

Today is maint day, I'm gonna strip and clean the saws, sharpen chains and change the oil in the stumpy. Surprising how many people ignore the dirty oil factor in their machines.

I just put new air filters but the oil needs doing, changed the oil filter last time. I use a synthetic blend.

Got a couple of quotes on too and jobs to book.

Started the earth works for our big transplant job today, and as usual in such jobs not everything went as planned,

another 6am start tomorrow ending who knows when, got to try to get the first tree in a state to lift on Friday.....we'll see how that goes.

I ground stumps most of the day yesterday and dropped and cut up two pines for the owner to burn. He had nearly hit his house with a pine he dropped last week.

Lopa be careful about getting water into the fan on these Duetz engines. The voltage regulater inside the alternator went up on mine and I got it replaced yesterday for $80., which was a good deal. I'm guilt of rinsing off my stumper and spraying water into that fan! Bad idea. It had not worked for a couple of years but one battery charge and it runs for a month......as it uses very little battery except for starting.

I played line clearance bloke today, pole is on fence-line and customer wanted locut tree pruned back to that too.

Had power turned off for job.

Know what ya mean, we did one the other week, makes for a interesting load of mulch, full of fluff too from the bark.

I'm not familiar with these messmates, were they only recently named after the mess they make of chippers?

In that case I think we have a messmate palm called the Washingtonia.

I got a cut one of those messmate palms next week, man they suck but we can get a bucket to this one.

Funnily enough a few mates who work logging say the stringy barks(messmates)really play havoc with all air filtration no matter what you do!
