well theres a good possiblity that i'm trading the ranger in for an 86 bronco 2.
guy was impressed with the ranger and like most of the good ole boys around here knew who i was and i've never even met him before.I like the bronco cause of the 4 wheel drive.I probabley should mention that the day i got that ranger first step was remove the muffler.

Thanks, guys. I ve been on these properties for a few owners. I had my 75 ' picker on the right rear sycamore and it was just about 1/2 way up. Had to get out to chase a dead stub over the house.

The left one dropped one into the left house that went right through a glass skylight directly over the bath tub. They have been screwing around over the roots with new addition and no one monitors that shit. These trees remind me of some of the picts of eucs I ve seen on here.

So sorry about Jack.

My Chihuahua was 14 when I put her out of her misery. I am still caught off guard at times and cry... four years later. ( I think it's a girl thing. Or just another manifestation of my lunacy).

My 30 year old son could not understand my reaction. Then one night he called me at work (0200 hours) crying and talking very strange. I thought the world was ending. #1 He never calls. #2 He rarely cries.

He had to put his favorite cat, Bob, down. He got him as a 13th birthday gift...17 years ago. I offered to leave work to comfort him but he said his wife and mother-in-law "helped" him.

Knowing the two women, I just couldn't imagine any therapeutic intervention from them. (nothing ugly meant here)

Foolish me for being such a doubting Thomas!

They took him to a bar and got him drunk. He rarely drinks so the "therapeutic intervention" was 100% effective...till morning, that is!

He gave Bob the same dignified farewell he gave my Chihuahua. He dug a hole in the back yard next to the wall, lined it with flowers, filled it in and covered it with a pave of nice river rocks and piped 'Amazing Grace' on his Highland Bagpipes over the grave without missing a note. In his hung-over state that is a testament to devotion to a loved pet.

Being gutted by having to say farewell to a friend that was my buddy through hell and back, I refuse to allow my remaining two to "go".

I must say, Jack in drag really is adorable. I hope you have another ankle biter, shoe lace chewer and next cross-dress winner running around peeing on everything that is off limits and moving into the hearts of you and your family.

Sincerely,

Raven

This is a picture of our cat not long before she went. She's about 17 here and was very gentle and loyal. She would follow you around like a dog, rarely leave the yard and only go outside through the cat door to do her business and straight back in.

Believe it or not we found her in a junk yard, some idiot dumped her.

Sadly she had bowel cancer and when it got real bad went to skin and bone from 5kg to 3.8kg in a week and stopped eating and throwing up blood.

Thanks for the kind words,Life goes on...He was a good friend of mine,You know what l mean..only wag his stub not his tounge...LOL.l dont think l will get another dog for a while.

Our pets definately get under your skin!..Everyone of them as they passed made me blubber like a baby when they died.

Eric,Sean and Raven, I feel for your losses, They become part of the family..R.I.P Our pets.

On topic; John and l have been doing some pruning on a pepper corn tree Schinus areira
Our customer requested this so she could have more light in her back yard, We removed the limbs that crossed other branches and had no real future,Then we had John high in the tree doing the shake to selectively remove smaller limbs as not to leave a gapping hole in the canopy,

My job was to determine from the ground if we removed this branch would it be a good choice and leave the tree looking full, Remember once it's cut off you cant glue it backon!..LOL..I think we done a good job.

We will post pictures on our thread A-One Trees at work in the picture forum for all of you's to see.

All The Best
JayD

I am going to ck those pictures out JayD. Here is Friday's catch of the day. We had to remove this big old white ash as in the past few weeks it had dropped a one ton branch twice in a heavily traveled spot on the left of the 3rd hole at the local golf course. It was about 85 feet tall and completely hollow and the stump pict is half of the stump and the other half in front of it is more hollow. It is a hole that is par 4 but can be driven. If you try to hit ball real hard you often hook or curve it to the left (duckhook) and "bango" you are right under this death trap (as opposed to sand trap). Greenskeeper was afraid to even mow under it.
