Spent the weekend dismantling 7 poplus nigra for a new firm the climber they had wouldn't climb them apparently he is only young he never turned up on the job so i couldn't ask him direct so they give me a call friday night.
admittedly this was a very challenging climb the timber is weak and the drop zone was a 20 ft x 16 ft area to the left of the old garage in the picture but i learned some things about myself.
the pictures are'nt great my video recorder went on the blink and sean my groundie who i brought with me isnt the best on cameras but hes done ok,
i had to bring every thing to the left tree to be lowered in that area and the wind got up some at times plus a big rain storm came in on the second day and soaked me in minutes then went to 18 deg sunshine.but job done enjoyed it on the whole.
ps trees had to come out due to the insurance for the house kicking up a stink and loading the premium if they stayed or so the team said.

Jay, very sad to hear that......get a puppy double quick, it'll break you out of the blues better than anything.

Sad to hear, post a pick of Jack please, lets see him.

Lost our 17yo cat not long ago and got a new cat about a month later, sure does help.

We have a dog too, he's a character, he's now 8yo and already ya brain is preparing coz some dont go much over 10yo.

Take care, have a red wine. RIP Jack.

RIP JackD =(

I've been driving all over the place with the new bike. Having a couple technical difficulties. Was coming up the 15 freeway this morning and the muffler mount broke. Stopped at a gas station, and it was still hangin on the pipe, reached down and grabbed it to pull it back up and it came off in my hands!

So I ended up riding the last 70 miles back home with a muffler jammed in my backpack, tied in using plastic trash bags as rope, and that open pipe just BAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! down the road. Was soooo freaked out that I was gonna get pulled over but managed to take the backroads and got lucky.

<sigh> Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.

I still have the muffler. I just gotta weld it back onto the pipe.
And you can't drive around town on a streetbike with no muffler NG.
Well, at least HERE you can't.

It does sound kinda nice though.
