I was absolutely convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I didn't get to a hospital, I was gonna die.

Had my friend rush me to the ER, they checked me out, everything came back normal. No heart problems, no infection in my lungs, nada. My pulse was up around 160 and my BP was skyhigh.

Apparently I had a "panick attack".... which is "common" but not typically deadly. No idea of the cause, just happened outta the blue. They said "it happens".... then put me on a bunch of stuff to "calm and elevate my mood".

If it weren't for that, I'd be feeling terrible right now. I hate feeling JUST FINE and knowing that I should be feeling terrible. I don't know how to feel. I almost feel like I'd be splitting apart at the seams but they aren't letting me.

So I suppose I'll float off to bed and think happy thoughts.
I kinda wish I knew how I was supposed to be really feeling, just for myself, but I don't know what that feels like. =( I'm so confused.

Work and just kinda, everything, have been slipping away for the past couple weeks. I just got over having pneumonia, and I was really restless about getting things going again, and then this happens.

Any advice?
i know it sounds impossible but you need to quit stressing so much.It does more harm than good and you worrying is not gonna change a situation.I believe[but cannot say for sure]that stress can help cause panic attacks.

Yesterday Pomie and I did a half dead hoop pine in an absolute shocker of a tight spot. Between a pool and fence.

Had to take the fence out between two properties and get everything out through a 2' wide gap. PITA.

The top was dead and everything was "snappy"

Ole Pomie set up a pull rope in the top, did the scarf and back cut leaving a thick hinge and came down to lower it.

I pulled on the tag line and the top came off .... all went to plan and he lowered it, bits showering down of course.

Anyway, job complete 2.30pm all chipped and all happy. No pics or video as it was just the two of us ... we did have a second job to go to but in true wanker fashion the customer cancelled leaving a dollars shortage to pay for third worker.... so third worker dropped for day and we did this together. even this job when we arrived nearly cancelled .... a change of mind emotional thing yet the tree was certainly on it's way out with dead dropping off it.

The climber didn't want to be up there when the top went over, and he's no noob climber that's for sure.

Well everything's "just peachy" now, I'm kinda floating on a pink cloud. Which they claim I shouldn't have any problems working with. I attempted to explain the nature of my work and all they said was "just be carefull".

Kinda makes me wonder, so I'm putting everything on hold for a little bit. Gonna get some stuff done around here, probably process some firewood, strip down ALL of my saws, try to fix the broken ones, try to get the other ones up and running and just sorta take it easy for a bit.

No coffee was involved, no alcohol, no drugs. It just hit me suddenly, suffused through my body and started coming in waves, each stronger than the next. I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not crazy or anything. (hah!)

I'm gonna try to go do something constructive with the rest of my day. Hope all is well with you guys. Take it easy.

Pissing down here, and hows this.

Rocked up to do a job today, bloke goes ya cant do it now coz Channel 10 is coming around here to make a news story and cant have noise.

Great, was raining anyway. LOL

But ends up there's some new BS going to be put into paint, and they're painters (was their business premises) and the news rang him out of the blue to do a story. He's gotta just have a few painters in the background fake painting with a huge sign.

Them dead tops are scary, last one I was up I took the top in a hand held section - dead radiata pine (might put pics up in our thread if my computer is nice to me )

Hey Therrin good to hear ya alright.. I find lifting weights is one of the greatest ways of destressing and clearing your mind for pure thoughts...

I'll have to get pics but i've been climbing alot of snags lately.Trees that literally have no bark or sapwood and the heartwood is either dry as a bone and brittle or punky.Talk about scary.
