If that was directed at me, you must have meant an H&K mod. 91, CETME .308. And no, its a H&K USP .40

I'd have a BIG problem if I needed to hide a .308 CETME in my truck!

This one's mine, cept I've got a variant 2, I think. No external safety.

This may come in handy when defending your position in the tree from tali-squirrels and other dangerous tree-creatures...or when your throwbag's getting stuck again...

Hah! That'd be great, a powerhead assisted throwline launcher.

You pull a bazooka outta the car and the h.o. is lookin at you like wtf?

this may come as a surprise to you guys.... But remington actually made shotgun line throwers. I've tried this once. Very accurate and far. It's not me in the picture though...

Holy !!!! I want one of those!!!!

Actually, it reminds me of the same technique quoted by the department of the Army in TM 31-210 "Improvised Munitions Handbook", for using a normal shotgun to create an improvised grenade launching platform.

Hear me out on this one, I'm not makin this up. I took out all the measurements and specs, but you should get an idea from the picture, without actually being able to recreate one without the text.

Just imagine the throwbag there....instead of a grenade
You remove the shot, halve the powder, and put in cardboard disks and wadding. It creates enough pressure to lob the projectile platform.

how bad was the old piston? Its not recomended but I have polished minor scores out of pistons and have them work quite well but it can't have to deep of a score.same for cyliners.

Ahhh.... I'm totally going to build a throwbag launching system for my 12 guage Remington 870. I've already started to purchase parts for it and I'm working on the design. It's such an awesome idea!!!!

I'll post pictures of the progress, as well as a video of the first test run of my shotgun-launched bean-bag system. This should really be interesting. Should have a working prototype in the next day or so.

Thanks for the pic Quercus!!!!!

The old piston actual broke near the seisure (exhaust side as usual). Cylinder didn't look too bad but decided to replace it.

NG I have heard of polishing out minor scores especially if just replacing piston and/or rings. I'll be trying it sonn on a 190t so let you know how it goes.
