Good to hear ya off . We're booked out til Christmas eve. Working straight through the weekend, hitting it hard then taking 3 - 5 weeks off . Can't wait.

You know, as funny as that sounds, can you imagine how many doctors there would be if they didn t need a degree, or license or really any knowledge given the amount of equipment and space they need to operate. I d def be a dr. , so would you and you. No more sweat, freeze, trucks, etc. Look in the phone book and guess how many "arborists" there would be if required what a dr. needs for working on live patients.

We got this service here Dial Before You Dig - Home but frankly, it wont help much inside private property ... mainly covers public areas and larger infrastructure not where the local plumber ran his crap.

I hit a beauty of a water main in a block of 60+ townhouses. Could not turn it off either, was a 1" pipe. The fountain went higher than the roofs, I have a standard out on all my quotes ... customers problem not mine. Apparently the plumber couldn't turn off the water either and turned his shovel over sitting on it's handle and worked blind fitting all the bits and getting soaked.

I think it's funny coz we cut trees and cop sawdust. They want to plumb and not get wet.
Never hit a gas line but one time I was drilling tree holes and saw a bunch of guys screaming and jumping up and down . Turns out It was the guys that put in under ground wires for the street light last week . Pulled out the auger and there was a rats nest of new wire on it . Saving grave I marked the tree holes night before and told the wire guy I would drilling in morning .Also I have been told it ok to dig by mangers because call before dig is clear .So I dig with back hoe all morning come back from lunch and right where I was digging is electrical line marked . I have also been told you are lucky to be a live any deeper and you would have blown to the moon .
