Nah, just had a few ...

You know, I never ever got or knew what a hangover was till I hit around 23yo. Then they just get worse. Once you crack 40 they're like something that takes days to recover from.

So I git a little pickled here and there but nothing too bad.

Also, my beer doesn't knock ya about so bad, makes you wonder what's in normal beer?

But if you want to feel real rotten, port! Even a bloke who hasn't smoked would think he chained a packet the night before. LOL

Default Laptop

Hi l2edneck,
Good on you bro, mines coming shortly and I'm looking forward to it!! Things generally go quiet only to go harder when its starts up again.

Ekka, Ever heard of Cedar Hill Bourbon? The only differance between it and old Jack is the first drink and about $30,after that its smoooth as until the next mourning, Imagine your worst ever hangover times it by two crack your self in the head with a basebll bat and your coming close to how this stuff leaves you the next day..I had a good time when I was younger, but I don't miss the hangovers!!

Oh and today I was organising our quote schedule.

It's quiet here but the door knocking Samoan's are apparently very busy, many totem poles and topped trees left standing in cowboy county.

Ok so this is the same old story to most of us, but I stood silent in disbelife.

I got a call from a landscape friend about a tree job that some guy had. The next thing I know he is yelling at the home owner to stop cutting. The guy was chiping and cutting a " pie " into a 2 1/2 foot diameter Pin Oak leaning over power lines. The man did not, so my friend called the police. They came and stopped him.
Got better. I show up from across town to find four guys there no shirts or PPE, having fell the oak and yelling at the home owner for $450.00. Then the guy gave them the money and asked for them to take 3 75ft White Pines down also. The " boss" told him two of them will come back at a later date and do it on the side for him. As they left they were joking about how they are going to take the guy's fence out for the hell of it.

Should I go back and ask if the home owner wants someone cert and insured to do it or should I leave it alone. Norm I would never try to take a job from anyone but the guy is about to get the shaft, mind you he is not from the USA and doesnt speak english. What should I do?

You have only your time to lose by going back and bidding it.

Up to you.

Up to my GFs for the weekend, home on sunday, Woohoo for the weekend (It took forever to get here)!

I have to grind a couple of stumps tomorrow morning, there's a water main under them.

Best to grind first up and when customer home so if we get a geyser she can fix.

If we do hit it I might have to drive a few vehicles over it first for a wash then turn the mains off.

I have a real interesting video to edit, getting that branch off that 4wd. As I dumped that branch I know what it weighed exactly (weigh bridge at tip), how's this 1.64tonne for that codominant break out branch.

Hmmm, you forget at times when you have machinery. But I knew when 4 wheels were spinning on the Kanga that it weighed a fair bit. Heck, I've lowered out sections that big, better tone it down a little eh?
