Default senseless "tree industry" death

Gday tree world.. i have had a ph. call with a tree co. in the greater Canberra region.. i do a fair bit of training for this mob and the crew i have met have all been good lads and keen to learn,, i am due to go there next week to do some further training, so called the boss to make sure it was all still on track. ( i will add at this point that this co. owner has gone out of his way to see that his crew are all trained and as prepared as possible for the potential hazards of the tree game.. ). I could tell the moment he spoke something was wrong. He had some crew out in a chipper truck driving down a dirt road on a private property- one of the crew decided to go for a ride on the side of the truck.. it seems he then tried to climb around the front of the truck........he then fell under the truck...he's dead...what a waste..I dont think i can even get a decent moral to this horrible tragedy- just so stupid.. my condolences to his family and friends

The new surfing thing?

Also some brag about climbing out of the say the drivers side window, manoeuvring around the vehicle and back in via the passenger window (perhaps like Indiana Jones).

Cant regulate against testosterone or competitiveness, sadly common sense is least prevalent in males below 27 years of age.

How old was the guy?

not sure, as you can imagine the boss is pretty upset, but he was a young fella.

A senseless death driven by testosterone, we all have done stupid things while young and for most of us we got away with it ! some pay straight away.

my condolences to family and friends.
