Default Problem with Holly Tree

I have a question about a Holly tree. The tree looks like it is leaking or oozing. From the research I have been doing it looks like it may be wetwood. Whatever is leaking is not sticky and it does not smell. Please let me know if you know what this is.

Thanks,
Mark

It could be bacterial wetwood or slimeflux. It could also be a bleeding canker caused by some unidentified bacteria. Some fungi also cause bleeding cankers. Bacterial infections that cause bleeding are usually localized around small wounds. Is that an old pruning scar I see in the second picture?
