just saw a post by Ekka in one handed chainsawing thread. he wrote about how he had modified a Sthil 250. wondering if anybody else out there have made some good mods they'd be willing to share with the rest of us? i'm not overly mechanically minded...all i've thought of doing is to bore out and put a larger piston in? this might not be financially viable? ok thanks! |

You know about taking the spark arrester out of the MS200T muffler dont you? Once you do make sure you retune.

yeah....thanks Ekka. I havent graduated to the 200T. I own 192. after only 5hrs of use it started to play up real bad....not idling and unable to reach full revs.....took her down to the local shop and old mate says you don't want the spark arrester in here? "ahhhh nah" i say and next thing i know she's doing 13000rpm's. BEAUTIFUL!
