Default Parks Vic says Trees = Murder Killers your Dead

I,m not sure where to begin. This information is brought to you by the state organization thats suppose to promote the benefits of Parks and Leisure but here they say.

BEWARE OF THE TREES
Trees and limbs may fall unpredictably.
Being under or near trees may be dangerous and could cause injury.
Parks Victoria: Tree Risk page

And then go on to reinforce above with more claims "u better stay at home cuz them trees are murderous feigns plotting to kill u".

I dunno? its all brought to you by the State that says cuttin a tree will stop a forrest fire?? Yup sure like our last fire thats gonna help about as much as the 6 figure pay managers of departments responsible. They went to dinner, now admitted failing their duty, didn't fix the power lines or take any action at all. So I guess its just par for the course.

Won't cutting a tree stop a forest fire, just to cause a ground covered brush fire??

And seriously, the state organization words their signs like that? Maybe they're appealing to the younger crowds who speak that texting jargon now.

This is just ludicrous.

Derwoodii

You have put into quotation marks (") things that simply do not exist on that page.

You have titled the thread with Trees = Murder Killers your Dead.

Bit over the top and certainly not what they are saying.

It was also brushed on in this post.

Do Gums just drop branches? Sudden Limb Failure

And I would say they are taking a responsible position on an issue that has killed people. They are saying be aware, be alert, think about your environment and assess the area.

Yes opps my bad sos. I will try to be more objective, new here learning the boundary's. Ta the gentle editorial slap. Grammar is not my strong point my dear dad was a journalist & would disapprove as well.
I did take from Parks Vic
"When a tree falls there is no way of predicting which way it will fall so being under or near trees may be dangerous and could cause injury". "Be safe, not sorry
As there is no way to predict exactly when a tree might fall or drop a limb it is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry" and tweaked just a bit.

Daily I get request to remove trees based on unrealistic claims about their safety articles like this are no help so get my dander up.
Like a cricket club who this week claimed that the sun and an nice large gum conspire to spoil their practice. I explained that they can move the sun or their nets but the tree will remain surprise they were not happy. The tree is a danger it will kill some one. Yes sure as you stand there with a can and a dart in hand chucking hard balls at each other the tree is surly the greater threat.
Sadly gums may drop limbs, sadly they never seem to land on the people who deserve it. Your my or our gods or personal demons work in mysterious ways.

No worries, you have to be careful about putting words into other peoples mouths.

This whole discussion is sensative, the issue is that tree owners (Parks Vic) have a duty of care and are expressing it I feel fairly.

Energex up here also has a campaign, "look up and live", sort of similar .... be aware of your environment.
