Hmmm, I must be missing the point or something. For starters, I dont clean many from the ground. I already have a pole saw but rarely use it on palms. And I certainly dont clean any to "harvest" stuff. Sorry, I dont get the big deal for us residential tree people, do enlighten me.

It's an old area here, I clean quite a few date palms, [dirty, filthy, spiky things!] further away I can get the better, also lots of vines on things they clog my polesaw up. On the website they also have 6 & 8 meter ones. I'd use one a fair bit, most guys wouldn't. Don't know about the 8 mtr though. |

The sickle cutting from the top down wont get trapped or caught as much either for you I suppose. 8m is a fair reach, you'd have arms like a orangutan using that all day.
