Seems like about any educational program i watch on TV indicates that of the top 10 worlds most poisonous snakes that about 8 live in Australia. So when working in tree tops, or in the brush, forest or wherever isnt these venomous creatures somewhere in your minds? Do you have regular encounters? Do you carry snakebite kits or are they of any use? Have you known a cutter to perish from being bitten? Or is my TV programing just a bunch of hype? We have a couple of poisonous snakes here in Kansas but i've only seen a dozen or so live ones in the wild in my 53 years of living. REJ2

I'd be more concerned about getting knocked around by a kangaroo.

A friend in Brisbane linked me to a photo that was taken while it was still raining, a frog was riding on the back of a snake in the water.
