Default Mobile phone booster/repeater danger

Just thought others should know about the Mobile phone booster/repeater devices that are being placed on existing HV power poles. so what you say.
Well at the last few power company course's we have attended, we have be lold that workers are not alowed within 6m of the devices. We are told that even light exposure to these things is very bad.
I will get some pics of these things up soon.
Im not sure if they are being used outside victoria

So you are saying no danger to us just to their equipment, like it's sensative etc and a spray of bar oil not good?

Sorry i was not clear, if we go within 6m of the actual device (located on top of a 10m pole) we may be microwaved (cooked)

Ill get the pics soon and i'll find the distance diagram.

As far as i know, in victoria, they are only in melbourne. but im not sure about other states.

If they're such a hazard why use them? How would they keep them and the lines around them clear?Do they shut them down for you to trim around them?

They are used all around Australia. The pole they are mounted to should have a warning sign attached at the base, with a phone # for de energizing if you need to work near them.
Not only on HV poles either!
