Default Missouri 2008: got the inside word?

I have lucked my way into competing at the World's in Missouri next year. Is there anyone out there who can tell me about St. Louis, what sort of trees grow there, google earth co-ordinates on what park the comp will be held in, where it's good to stay, things to see and do etc. etc?

Making it to this nearly - but not quite - compensates for the ABs sucking in France.

After someone can tell you the trees, I know a good link with really nice images that you can look for the names in, to see what they look like. It's just that the site is not just Missouri.

Going to fly, or cruise on a ship?

icte.umsl.edu/earthlinks/treeindex.html - 20k

have you asked the itcc folks where the site will be?

International Tree Climbing Championship

I'll be visiting the site in early march; can look closely for you then.
