Default Los Angeles trees - Ekka, your cup of tea?

Couldn't not think about Ekka when I saw all the palms in Los Angeles and Oceanside, California.

Anyhow, I was rather impressed with how much arboriculture I saw. Its more established there, that in the Pacific Northwest.

Seems that they must have a lot of good arborists down there - if not, could have fooled me.

Looks like a town that could tempt someone like myself to move to for tree care.

I'd have to totally side-step the landscape design aspect, but could easily move into the tree care industry.

There was plenty of topping going on when I was there in 1990 and 1993.
Maybe they've seen the light!
As soon as you exit the airport it looks like Australia, Melalueca Quinquinervia and Euc Citriadoria eveywhere.

Hey Mario

I saw the copyright on the pic and thought I'd have to test the rules.

Any more pics, come on, a palm is just teasing me!

Actually, if anyone wants me to email them that full image file for a sceensaver, that's fine. A screensaver was what I had in mind when I took a few in that spot.
