Interesting, who'd have known that 1000+ men from Honduras went to Scotland to fell timber in 1941?

And the ole fellas stayed, Honduras too hot and boring. LOL

They sure got paid well, 30 pounds a week when the average wage was 2 pound 50. The basic wage here in 1949 was 8 pounds equal to about 4 English pounds then, I think. No wonder the girls liked them.
