Default Jims Trees?

Whats the general feeling in the industry about Jims Trees? I know their training is pretty lacking when they are saying 3 weeks is plenty to get your totally ready. But what about if you already have experience but wanna start your own business? I reckon it would be a good place to learn how to run a business, ie: the office side of things. Although it is a pretty expensive buy in and doesnt really include any half decent equipment, a trailer for 8k... I could buy a tipper for the same price.

Jim has franchised everything from tree work to ironing services they are a low calibur choice when there is so much training available from the correct scourses and veryexpensive.

But I could soo totally buy in for 20k in QLD, or even just a measly 11k in NSW, someone doesnt value NSW much at all.

I bet they bite into your pocket in many other ways.

Outofmytree is a Jims trees franchise, look at his posts and see how bright he is.

Some of them have to be doing it right. Theres one up in QLD turning over 250k a year and one down here with 7 people on the job. They got some nice gear down here, seem them with nice chipper trucks, pretty swish looking rayco stumpy but funny little 6" chippers and a Vermeer BC1000.

I was unaware of turnover being an indicator of doing it right.

Who remembers Simon Docker (TreeworX) and his million dollar spiel in The Australian Arbor Age?

Turnover means shit, even the Islanders turnover more than that and built a huge church, tax free I bet.

So often I heard, "oh but they were so professional and had all the big gear".

And left them with shit like this.

What was that software he brought out and sucked people into to?

Left them high and dry, when you buy software you do that ... buy software, not rent it!

If you want to learn how to run a business with the office side of things, do your Cert III and IV in Arb. At a tafe that provides QUALITY training.

Jim's Trees are a fuggen JOKE.
