I dunno she's pretty flat..... Pretty smile though I suppose. Article says she has to put in something more appropriate within 30 days of the one she removed. |

| Tree Raider, the only choice in tree removal Just a simple image with some stuff they do. One of the guys at work had someone put a card in his door to get the tree in his front yard removed. Said the same stuff basically, large and dangerous tree specialist, decades of experience. The boss thought it was the Maori's at it again, said he should call them to get a quote on the tree :P:. But moving on they look and sound just like the guys on the card. |

Do you think they gave her permission because the tree was a problem or because she was famous?

I say the latter, but maybe a bit of the first one. Councils are too lazy to do any work.

Looking at the pictures in the Telegraph there didn't seem to be much of a cavity for termites and no significant decay. Makes you wonder

I saw that the other week. Guy down the road from our job site is there cutting away in his front yard with what looked like a brand new Stihl 46, he was too manly to even just sharpen the chain. Running it flat stick, no ppe at all, pushing hard and back and forth real hard, you could tell it was as blunt as a broomstick.

| LoL yea, there was this council climber that worked like that, then one day someone sharpened his saw. The next time he used it he almost cut one of his own limbs off, he was soo used to pushing real hard through the branches.
