Hey guys, i hate boganvilea too, growns very fast here, once had to remove two that had gone through the planter and grown into the concrete, was not fun thats for shore.

I try n leave them to winter....When you are at least covered head to toe and protected somewhat!! |

| LOL..I've heard of a short cut taking Arb, Who at the time thought he was smart and hooked the vine up to his truck and proceeded to pull the whole bloody wall down it was entiwned on..LOL....There goes a grand..LOL. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't know about those, but out here we have joshua trees ![]() When I get called to cut one, I wear full welding leathers, leather gauntlets, balaclava, goggles, and Stihl helmet rig w/ faceshield. Sounds like pretty cruddy stuff. I hate thorns. If anyone else out there has welding leathers, try wearing them next time you've got a thorny beast to work on. They're hot as hades but work pretty good for puncture protection. |

Around here we have hawethorn.I've only done a couple little but frig do those thorns hurt.
