Default Itcc 2011

Hello,

We are planing our visit to australia at the moment.
We have two weeks for your visit in australia.
5 days for the ITCC2011 in Sydney, so what should we do after the ITCC?
Perhaps someone can give us some suggestions.

Well, I'd say head north coz that's smack bang in the middle of winter if a freezing cold place .... head for the Whitsundays and the tropical north.

Sounds good.
How should we travel from sydney tho whitsundays, via train or airplane. You know we have the climbing gear with us.
Or is it possible to drive with the car, but I think 24 hours to drive is a long time.

Plane mate, get out of Sydney fast!

Then go to God's country and relax.

From Airlie beach you can drive north, Port Douglas, Townsville, Cairns etc. The water (ocean) up there in middle of winter is around 20C, still good! You can see the Barrier Reef before it dissolves to climate change or oil pollution.

Visit the Daintree rainforest. Take a fishing tour, you wont regret it.

Trust me, do your homework on north Queensland, there's nothing else like it and winter is the prefect time to see it, you can even swim in the water without stingers (jellyfish) but watch out for sharks and crocs..... but hey, who was the last person bitten? Who knows, right, coz it's so rare we don't know or care. Just check it out.

I have seen a lot of Australia and I can say that part of Australia in winter ..... the best. In summer, stuff that, a sauna bath.
