Default ISA debate

I am posting here because ISA gets a bad rap from just about everyone here.

I just bid a job for the Department of Enviormental Protection. And yes, you are required to be ISA certified, but I got this bid based on my previous work history, not ISA exclusively. There are only 4 other ISA certified arborist in my area, and they will not be allowed to bid because of their poor work history. Bottom line...ISA provides a level of education for government to start judging your compantancy. There are bad apples in every system, and the good old boy type of hire bias will be in every system.

This is Australia not America, we have a different system. End of story.
