Default Internship wanted in Australia or NZ

I have a student who is interested in doing an internship in Australia or NZ. Would be available about June 1. Forestry student with basic climbing knowledge, experience on fire crew last summer in SW US. If you have anything available let me know.

Thanks.

For internship, I expect them to do a little bit of everything that the job entails. Good worker, good disposition, good physical shape, for climbing skills, he worked with blake and several of the other friction hitches (swabish, distal, MT, etc.), used friction savers, did some limb walking, setting ropes with throwlines, very basic footlocking skills, I am confident that he could handle most all ground skills and is a fast learner. I would be happy to work with him this spring on any particular skills before school is out.

What are travel requirements? Does he need a work Visa or anything of that sort. I will have him get hold of you through your website or this group.

Thanks for the interest. It is rare that I get one of the North Dakota farm kids that want to see the world. I like to help as much as possible.

Hey Jason, between you and a few other guys down Melbourne you'd have enough work for this guy. I assure you that he'd be better than the average lugger if he's climbed.

He'd need a work visa, many types depending on age.

Here's a good place to get the facts

How old is he and how long does he intend to stay?
