Past my instructor 1 class today. Did my lessin on Tree Rescue Awareness for the First Responder. Instructor thought it was great that I had brought to light the fact that a sacluded tree rescue might not be as easy as the fire department would like to belive. I have Instructor 2 class next mounth. Looking for ideas on what to do my lession plan on. Was thinking about sticking with tree climbing stuff but also was thinking about doing a class on heavy object lifting without the help of modern equipment. Any thoughts??

It is a 40hr class, but after passing the written and the practical if you want to teach a class you will have to be precepted by a senior instructor till they sign off on you. That can be a while for good reason. Also you have had to have taken the class that you want to teach, work in the field of it for a certin amount of time and then take a class that shows you have enough knowledge to teach it. Lots of red tape but I'm ok with that.
