Default Is this how protected trees are pruned in the BCC area?

These fine examples of the "Hackers art" where located on the neighbouring property to one of our clients.
Lucky our client could be convinced of the right way of doing things.

Resisdential block in Kenmore, Brisbane (BCC tree protection orders cover the whole area)

Cheers Mike

Oh, but they'll bush up!

And if they did poison them then they risk transferal to other trees via grafted roots.

But hey, we had smart guys who didn't poison them but ring barked them so they die and become a termite condo plus decayed roots over time allow them to fail anyway.

In other words, which ever way you look at it, it's a loss/waste of time and a hazard.

Shame on the cowboys who did it.

Ekka...

You oughta put a PA speaker on one of your vehicles, and whenever you see one of these hackers at work, park at the curb and play the music "ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST" on loud.

And another ones gone

And another ones gone

Another one bites the dust ...
