Default Give away Silkyoak log Adelaide for milling"

Can anyone provide advice on options for 6000mm x 450mm silky oak trunk that's just been felled please? Seems a shame to use it for firewood. Thought it was going to be taken by an Adelaide tree salvage group but they've changed their mind.

Local woodwork shops, wood-turners might also want it.

Good luck, it should go.

Maybe post a pic of it.

mY BETTER HALF POSTED PICS ON THE WEB OF ALL MY BOARDS/ SLABS,, MY SILKY WAS A BIT BIGGER( WIDER THAN YOURS) BUT THEY SOLD LIKE CHEAP BEER,, THEY GOT SENT ALL OVER OZ.. MOST OF THEM WENT TO BE BARS,, ASKED EVERY BLOKE FOR A PIC OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT,, NOT 1 PIC,, grizzle grumble.,. PUT EM ON LINE WITH PICS DUDE , ( I SUGGEST WETTING THEM TO BRING OUT THE COLOUR),, I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESPONSE.. GOOD LUCK
