Therrin, Shags So far I am really happy with the springs, although the only benefit I have gotten from them so far is to be say " hey look at the new airbags on my truck" ![]() I havent really tested them yet, they do make the ride quite harsh though if you have too much pressure in them without a load. I'll probably be filling the truck up with wet oak and madrone this weekend so I'll get to see how much they really help.

Firestone Ride Rite air helper springs in action. Click on the pic to view video. ![]() Not the heaviest load, but enough to bottom out the suspension on even the smallest bumps, with about 40 PSI in the air springs the truck was back to original height, no bottoming out, and a smooth stable ride through the windy Santa Cruz mountian roads on the way home from the job.

Dannyboysfc, that will keep the tail from draggin' on the ground. The other issue is if you are traveling after dark, no need to adjust the headlights. Looks Good!

Heres another mod I did to my truck, comes in handy when needed. ![]() Next will probably be some type of sides and top to be able to haul a bit larger loads, and even chip a small amount into the truck, as well as protect the rear window. Don't wanna have the same accident as Therrin. ![]()

Danny, that's pretty awesome with the air springs. I bottom mine out everytime I take a load home. I can't wait to order mine. I like the winch too. With that toolbox back there I'm suprised you can even fit much of a load in that thing to bottom it out! What year is the truck? I decided to use a 30cf scuba pony bottle with just a first stage w/ single LP hose, and a tire filler connector on it to carry around for use with the air springs. It's compact, lightweight, means I don't need to carry a compressor, can change the pressure anywhere I want, and it'll fill them several hundred times over on a single tank. TD, good idea on the inlets. However it was the big white bread truck from the one pic I posted that I coated the entire inside (including instrument console, windshield, full cab, etc) with the wet-sap spray mist coating... If I had done it to *MY* truck I'd have likely popped myself already ![]()
