Hi there, this is my first post to Tree World (hope i'm posting in correct area). I'm currently living in the UK and am migrating to Adelaide SA next July. At present I am studying Level II aboriculture and will finish the course a few weeks prior to getting on the plane to migrate (Yay!) What I would like to know is can I take a short course once in Adelaide regarding tree ID as obviously I have learned British tree species - I have done research online and can pick up information quickly this way but want to have as much knowledge on Australian species as possibleou Also will my qualification in the UK be appropriate to your level II to gain employment within a company. Lastly do I need to be registered to any bodies before doing private work. I will obtain the relevant liability insurance needed of course. Many thanks for taking the time to read my post and look forward to anyone being able to help me. Jo. I origianally posted this in the welcome area - please could someone give me some advice on this. |
