No probs as long as you dont have too much cross grain.
Better green than dry.

I heard it only splits easy pretty much the same day or a bit (few days) after its been cut???

There is one advantage in leaving it for a few days, as it wont dry too much.
That being the cracks in the grain will start to open up showing you the easiest way to split.
Ever had logs jam on the end of the ram splitter or had them blown apart when they finally give out?

Hey, that green Euc split nicely. I never would have figured for it being green. I had big rounds to boot, and they were not crackin' down the middle for anything even with the 37 ton splitter. Only along the grains. The smaller stuff split down the middle fine.

I just had to try this once to see how it would go.

I think it splits easiest when the bark has dried and separated from the wood, 6-12 mths. Then leave for another year to dry completely.
