Default Do You Celebrate Arbor Day?

Was going through some news today and came across a bunch of news that talked about Arbor day. Some celebrated on Earth Day and some are doing today and so on and so forth. Was wondering if you guys celebrate Arbor day? I guess there are no hard and fast rules or any particular day for it, but just wanted to see if any of you use a particular day/date to celebrate "Arbor day."

I think we plant trees or something Chrissy, but it's not a holiday I don't think. We have so many public holidays that I forget what half of them are for. We have a holiday on the queen's birthday and it's not even her birthday then, now that's dumb.

I guess we'll lose that one when we become a republic and get a better flag though. They might give us an independence day instead. That queen must be 100 by now!

I celebrate arbor day almost every day. I have a plant nursery here, and I have a one-man chainsaw and arborist business. It seems that I am either cutting down trees or propagating/planting them, or on some jobs, doing both.

That has got to be fun. And I am sure most who are in this business share the same passion as you do.

Yes and no. Most arborists here are pretty happy, but some are drunks and low lifes. The nursery trade is a tough business, but generally most nursery owners are pretty friendly and happy people for the most part. However there is a dark side to both, as the Mexican labor army is coming north and taking a lot of the jobs away in the agricultural business. Se habla Espanol?
