Courses in Victoria, Aus

G'day all. I've been tree falling for some time now, but the guy who trained me, well... he taught me some good stuff and prob some bad stuff and didn't really want me to be too successful anyway. To cut a long story short, it's time I did some formal study. What courses are available in Melbourne and which ones are best?

NMIT in Fairfield has Cert 2, 3, 4 & 5 (Diploma) in Arboriculture. Just jump on their website for more info. Arbortrim have a few courses but I'm not sure what exactly they are. Not sure who else does Arb in Vic.

Best bet is find a good employer with good climbers/foreman.

Thanks Apocalypsse, I sent them an email this morning. Their prices are very reasonable as well.

Just be warned that TAFE prices are going up each year because of the governments new hex things, best to get it done now while its still cheapish.

Just a wordback on the NMIT course. I got my enrollment papers in the post for next year. The emails I got before from NMIT were talking about a waiting list, but it seems full steam ahead!
