A "new guy" might want to learn to check the trees out a little more before condemning them. "Time to go"? That's the owner's decision, after the arborist looks to all other options. Ever hear of propping? | |

Its always the clients decsion,if its rotten, and i know its rotten and in tight quarters chances are i'll condemn it unless the rot seems to be minor. As i have said before eevn the little oaks around here devolp heart rot,and when i mention that theres even a slight chance of rot the clients usually start asking me to quote a removal. Its obvious me and yuo don't see eye to eye on alot of things,we live in differnt areas and work in differnt enviroments. We also have differnt clients.Yours might be more inclined to save thiers trees, some around here are willing to save thier trees but most usually want them removed which is about 90 percent of my work.I don't know it all and as long as there are trees they will continue to teach even the most experianced arborist differnt things.I know that rot = weak wood, weak wood =more chance of failure.I just see it as pointless to try and save severely rotten trees that will be in close proximity to humans but if you think its worth while its your insurance not mine.
