I can assure you all that this is not the work of outofmytree. If it was I would hatrack him (and I am only his leading hand). Quite often in Perth we see this kind of abomination. If customers ask us to do it then they are either convinced of the error of their ways or they are no longer customers. OOMT - glad you learned how to embed pictures, you can show me when I get back. Now learn how to embed text to explain why you put such an ungodly sight in this temple of aboreal culture! Man that is one ugly picture. |

Actually, is there a thread for the worst pictures ever. We see some pretty bad stuff out there. Maybe we could have a competition to find the worst example of tree pruning in the history of the world. Could be sort of therapeutic.

The worst thing about it is that the photo doesnt show you that this is a Tuart. Perhaps the most attractive Eucalypt native to the Perth region. These trees frequently top 30 metres and can top the scales at over 10 tonnes per tree. You can clealry see this tree has been hacked more than once.....and I bet the customers asked for it to be done this way having been convinced of the "benifits". I will post a picture some time soon of an even worse example. How about a butchered Rose Gum ( e regnis ) at the front of one of the largest plant nurseries in Perth. Talk about bad advertising. |
