Exclamation The bushmans throwline and throwbag!

Well, done a job on a horse stud today.

Was fun, customer had a tractor with cable to do some trees. I asked how he intended to get the cable up the tree?

Oh, I throw this up there, goes great and doesn't get stuck to often.

He's not even using the old standby, 8oz snapper sinker! Hope he's not near the roof or windows.

I was gonna rag on that thing, but then I realized that I just effectively built the back yard hillbillys throwline and bag. Guess I really should keep my mouth shut

In these parts, those wrenches are commonly called a "mexican toolbox"

no joke. It's funny watching the FNG on a site, someone says "hand me that mexican toolbox" and the kid's lookin at toolboxes sayin "...dammit, which one's the mexican one"

Yeah, its funny until the ground guy tosses it to ya when the wedge has fallen out, the tree to settles back and the three foot bar is stuck in the backcut, your holding the saw and the hammers 3 feet away. What do you do, give him the LOOK, LAUGH, or FIRE him on the spot. I prefer the LOOK.
