Bloodstopper grab tab

For anyone who carries a Bloodstopper, here's a simple tip that may be useful ... hopefully NOT in an emergency:

While doing some routine gear inspection, maintenance and cleaning, I tried to remove the Bloodstopper from its pouch to inspect it and re-read the instructions. It was very, very tight. I was hot. My hands were slippery. It was very difficult to remove the bloodstopper. It occurred to me (an Awakening?); if I was spurting blood and trying to pull the bloodstopper out with one hand -- I might bleed out.

Then, I remembered an old trick. I added some duct tape (orange) to form a grab tab to make it a lot easier to get at the bloodstopper. I'd like to take credit for this trick. However, I learned it from my Mother who had arthritis and would put tape tabs on all her ID cards to make them easy to get them out of her wallet. Thanks Mom!
