Hi guys just thought I would start this tread and see if anyone elese out there is having, or has had the same problems that I have with birds and trees. The two main problem birds are White Cockatoos and Gallars. They seem to mainly attack these species of trees, Carbeen, Eucs, Jacarandas and White Ceder trees. I find that the trees have been so badly damaged that the braches eventually break and die from ringbarking. The Jacarandas have that much dead wood through them and then regrowth as well on the same branch. It looks like the whole tree is on epicormic steroids and just leaves me at times scatching my head about what to do. I have one picture from a White Ceder tree of what the damage looks like, then imagine it half to three quarters of the whole tree.

yes ive found that they chew the hell out of the grey gums in all of the major forks, talking to the customers it's mostly the white cockatoos that do the damage on them and the galahs work on the smaller trees, roast galah is supposed to be quite good ![]()
