Spotted this dense lovely shaped small tree/shrub at a customers house. They have only pruned the side a little to stop it from going into the clothes line, it's quite compact and a great screen as you cannot see through it. This one is mature and here in Brisbane they get maybe 4m to 5m high untouched. On the right of it in the picture that is a Murraya, leaves that for dead... certainly doesn't sprawl out as far. I must say, it's perhaps the best screening small tree/shrub I have seen, better than viburnum and lillypilly even. No need to hedge or top this one (as people do).
