Default Australia's worst import

I hate native birds, and those ghastly native shrubs and trees, so what else could I do but plant 3 sides of my block with this crapola.......After all, my neighbour, and every second house in my street has them. They are compulsory, aren't they?

Needed to have a moan, I trimmed 36m of this guff today.
Oh, the humanity....

There is usually a plethora of species to choose from. If you picked the same as your neighbours, and you don't like them -- plant something else.

Personally, i find trimming quite relaxing - a chance to reflect, concentrate on a good job without fear of falling or slipping or being crushed by a swinging limb. Just do the job and relax. Enjoy the experience. Maybe you will get good enough you can do the neighbours' shrubs as well and develop a cult LOL

Used to maintain 4 square columns of the junk, 500mm x 500mm x 4m high, ridiculous!

Gave it away, about as sensible as a stack of toilet rolls in the middle of the lawn..
