Default Australia's Tree Work Ambassador

Hey Ekka here's a counter thread to your 'Paul Nosak Raw - USA's Tree Work Ambassador?'

Tree lopper trapped after harness breaks - Yahoo!7 News

Tree lopper trapped after harness breaks

A tree lopper's been rescued after getting stuck up a tree with his trousers down.

He became trapped after his harness broke during a job on the Gold Coast.

The man had been sawing through a branch, when the harness broke, and stripped his pants to his ankles.

He held on to the trunk, 12 metres up, in this compromising position for about half an hour.

Firecrews were called to help.

They used a ladder to help him safely to the ground.

The man wasn't injured

Repeating what i said in the video thread of it....

Hilarious

What the hell happened for a harness to "snap" though???

How would a proper tree harness just disappear???

To end up in his situation you'd need the waist belt and leg loops/butt strap to snap at the same time, as well as your climbing rope and flipline to snap for the whole lot to fall away from you.

Or more likely, he was up there on some spikes & just a make shift waist belt rather than a proper, professional tree climbing harness.

He didnt seem in a hurry to pull his pants up

Pants go down, Sales go up....Works in some industries, unfortunately not this one

Sales going up, first he needs to worry about keeping his pants up
