Default Arborsculpture

Has anyone here tried arborsculpture before?

How difficult is it to accomplish? What are the ethical considerations?

I know nothing about it other than looking at similar photos. I find the subject intriguing, considering the years it takes to form the subjects.
The third picture reminds me of a girl I once knew....................

In the past, I tinkered with that nature of stuff - grafting, weaving, bending. Nothing elaborate, but it was fun.

A lot of it is just bent, or done by grafting-in small twigs.

Wouldn't really be very hard. Just requires some time and patience.

Even if it only occured man-made, I'd be fine with it.

But it even occurs naturally.

I'm OK with too, need a lot of time and patience ... could also mean that they'd care for the trees more as you wouldn't want your creation dying.

I thought it looked pretty intense when I saw the pictures. I'd love to have the skill to work something patiently like that.

Was kinda hoping someone actually did this stuff. I was reading about grafting when I found the link. That's some pretty interesting stuff. Pairing up a good fruit bearing canopy with an awesome root system. What a great idea. Musta been crazy when someone figured out that they could coexist like that.

I like nature to do it, but this has been around a long time. There are a lot of Australian aboriginal ones, but most like other countries are too old to recognise.Arborsmith Studios

That Arborsmith man is in the same valley I'm in. He's in Williams, about 15 to 20 miles from here.
