What sort of tree is that? Also, can you get bit of a distance shot so we see the whole thing, looks small.

Some kind of juniper. Its about 6ft tall. Its the nearest thing to a "tree" in the high desert. If I can overcome my technical difficulties Ill have some more pics in a bit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok here is some more. This little guy is right in the center of my drive way and a recent heavy snow storm tried to take him out. If you look close enough at the point of failure you can see that this was not the first time. This "suport" system is extremly primitive as it only cost me 2 dollars for the tree straps at the local nursary. All other mateirials were scrounged up from my garage.
